Capital Gas announced three days ago, the successful delivery of the 'Amadeus', their second 22,000 cbm low-pressure liquid CO₂ (LCO₂) / Multi-Gas Carrier, from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co., Ltd. (HMD).
The 'Amadeus' is the second of four sister vessels scheduled for delivery by HMD in 2026. Engineered with cutting-edge multi-cargo capability, she is designed to transport LCO₂, LPG, ammonia, and selected petrochemicals.
This delivery follows the recognition of sister vessel 'Active', which was honoured with the Lloyd's List Greek Shipping Awards 2025 "Ship of the Year" for "opening a new chapter in future carbon transportation solutions" and its "revolutionary tank technology and multi-cargo flexibility."
The 'Amadeus' joins a pioneering fleet that reflects their commitment to advancing sustainable maritime solutions.
